Privacy Policy
Effective October 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Rexroad Technologies, a DBA of DREX Outdoors LLC ("Rexroad Technologies," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information in connection with this website and our software products, including Chapter Forge Author Studio.
1. Information you provide
We may receive information you choose to provide, such as your email address and the contents of support or business inquiries. If account features are introduced, we may also receive the account information needed to provide those features.
2. Chapter Forge authoring data
Chapter Forge is designed as a local-first browser tool. Current pre-release builds are designed to keep authoring content and project data in the user's browser while the user works. We do not use Chapter Forge to generate user stories with AI.
3. Payments and subscriptions
When paid subscriptions become available, payment and subscription services may be provided by third parties such as Stripe and ExtensionPay. Those providers may process information needed to complete payments, manage subscriptions, verify entitlement, prevent fraud, and meet legal requirements. Rexroad Technologies does not intend to store full payment card numbers.
4. Website hosting and technical data
Our website may be hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. Like most web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, security signals, and diagnostic logs in order to deliver and protect the website.
5. Embedded media
Pages on this website may include embedded media from third-party services, including YouTube. Loading or interacting with embedded media may allow the third party to receive technical information or set cookies according to its own policies. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain where practical.
6. How we use information
We may use information to provide and support our products, respond to inquiries, manage subscriptions and entitlements, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, improve features, and comply with legal obligations.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, distribute, support, secure, or bill for our products, and when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, users, or services.
8. Data retention and security
We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to legal and operational requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Our paid services are not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in a manner that violates applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products and data practices evolve. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
